Toronto Project
PLACE: Toronto, Canada.
YEAR: 2019
INTERVENTION:Construction of a bathroom for a private residence.
For this project in Toronto, Canada, a modern bathroom was created by Dwelli: the peculiarity of this project is the installation of a free-standing fireplace, which acts as a radiator and design element.
The owner immediately expressed the desire for a bathroom with soft colors and some marble inserts.
An 80x80 cm ABK Gent porcelain stoneware tile with concrete effect in an ash finish was chosen for the floor. For the wall tiles, on the other hand, the ABK Crossroad Chalk Gray 80x80 cm porcelain stoneware collection was selected. A band of ABK Sensi Up Invisible Pearl marble-effect porcelain stoneware tiles was inserted at the height of the washbasin, also used on the wall that separates the washbasin from the white Rak-Tonique sanitary fixture.
To contrast the light colors of the floor and wall tiles, a matt black finish tap from the Zucchetti Jingle collection was installed for both the washbasin mixer and the shower head.
The Antonio Lupi Binario 12 washbasin cabinet with top and integrated washbasin in white Flumood with double wood-effect chest of drawers is placed under a customized mirror with two wall units covered with the same marble effect as the central band and the walls.
The Zucchetti Pan collection in the same previous finish was chosen for the thermostatic shower mixer.
The shower consists of a Planit Doga shower tray and a double Calibe door in tempered glass, one fixed and the other folding.
In addition to the fireplace, a heated towel rail was installed between the two windows of the room, that is an Irspa Tratto radiant plate.
