NATURE: colours and elements
Furnishing plays a fundamental role in building an environment of peace and tranquillity. The ceramic prefers the warm colours of the earth: clay, terracotta, red, olive green, periwinkle blue in their various shades. The textures, opaque and dull, give a sense of softness.
Nature, however, is not only calmness! Nature, in the same colour range, can also be expressed with bright, vivid shades, emphasised by a glossy finish.
Both alternatives can be combined with another presented trend: bathroom tiles with floral designs. They replace wallpapers and give a distinctive character to the entire room. With a mixture of colours and colour textures, just one wall or a small niche can be highlighted.

New shapes and shades for ceramic wood, which this year combines with other effects to create three-dimensional and sophisticated wall coverings. The combination of two contrasting shades, one warm and the other cold, allows the details of each to be enhanced.

- PATTERN: 60s and 70s revival
A clear nostalgic reference to the 1960s and 1970s are tiles and wall coverings with abstract decorations. Rounded geometric shapes, tribal, graffiti, stripes and Vienna straw effects decorate walls and floors.
Wall coverings with repeated patterns can suit everyone's taste, combined in different ways they can make your décor clean and minimal, extravagant and eccentric or luxurious and refined.
A particular idea is to run the pattern along the floor and up the walls, recreating an effect of continuity and length.

- STRIPS: plays of light and colour
The most recurring trend at this edition of Cersaie is the strip shape. A long, narrow brick that with a total look or with plays of colour adapts to every space and every style.
In this year's characteristic colours, both matt and glossy, their microstructure makes them suitable for covering curved walls.
They can be arranged randomly to create an effect of continuous movement and, with a rough texture, light effects can be created.
