The fair highlighted a growing interest in natural materials such as wood, bamboo, stone, marble, and ceramics, used to create furniture, washbasin tops, and bathroom accessories. Moreover, alongside these classic materials, there has been an increasing interest in advanced composites like solid surface, known for its resistance to shocks and abrasions and for its significant visual impact.

There are many suggestions regarding the color palette of the modern bathroom, inspired and influenced by nature. The advice is to use light and warm tones, preferring colors like hazel, Sienna earth, or cord.

To add a touch of refinement and elegance to the bathroom, it is recommended to use these nuances for both furniture and wall coverings. And if you want to be perfectly in line with the very latest trends, then matte finishes are the ones to prefer.

Great attention is also paid to the faucet sector. The design of the faucets of the future favors clean lines and an aesthetic inspired by the fluidity of water. Bright colors like gold, often with brushed finishes, are increasingly appreciated and aim to create a sophisticated contrast in the modern bathroom. Also, keep an eye on matte finishes, which emerge as a distinctive trend for their sober elegance.

But what stands out most is the increasingly strong trend towards a minimalist bathroom design. Minimalism dominates again this year, presenting itself in the form of clean designs and well-organized spaces.

The new 2024 trend focuses entirely on customization and uniqueness. Tailor-made solutions that adapt well to the dimensions of each bathroom are rewarded. An important aspect, also in light of the often reduced dimensions of modern bathrooms.

The latest trends focus entirely on a coordinated style among coverings, sanitary fixtures, and furniture. A single color or unique style: what matters is to create harmony and give the idea of a coherent and uniform environment.

Many new collections were presented by the best bathroom furnishing brands, but also several innovations regarding environmental attention and water waste. Thus, there is an increase in the use of glass and  luminum, 100% recyclable, as well as PET-based resins produced with systems that allow the use of wastewater.
